Elliot (boy)
- I think this is a good, strong name for a boy. A bit unusual, but not so much that it sounds weird. I like the sound of Elliot Austin.
- I have always liked this name since the movie E.T. I love the way it sounds rolling off my tongue. The coolest part about it is, if the boy grows out of it, he can go by Eli, which is pretty popular also.
- nickname Eli. Sounds honest and is not common
- I like it because it sounds old fashioned and isn't totally overused
- Elliot Donovan: Although some may think this name sounds a little "nerdy", I have always adored it, and it is probably my favorite boy baby name. I think it sounds incredibly smart, handsome, and I bet an Elliot would be a lady-favorite. Donovan is the name of my best guy-friend. We have been best friends since the eighth grade, and he has always been there for me, always been my shoulder to cry on. I love him to death, and I would love to honor him someday by naming one of my children after him. My boyfriend isn't that crazy about Donovan, but I told him he can just get over it.
- Elliot James: Elliot is a name I love for its sound and meaning, and I would also use it in tribute to courageous missionary Jim Elliot. James I would use for my father, Jimmy, and also for my brother-in-law, whose middle name is James.
- Elliot Nathaniel: -Elliot has a literary quality and is rarely used. Nathaniel is just a lovely name, elaborate and in its own sense, also literary. Sounds good spoken.
